Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ShipLogs (https://shiplo.gs), operated by HakkApps, LLC. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

1. Overview

ShipLogs is a SaaS platform that automatically generates changelogs from your GitHub repositories using AI. You connect your GitHub account, select repositories to track, and we analyze commits and pull requests to create human-readable changelog entries for your products.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use ShipLogs. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account.

Accounts are personal and cannot be shared. Provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

ShipLogs offers three plans: Free, Pro ($14.99/month or $149.99/year), and Ultra ($29.99/month or $299.99/year). The Free plan does not require payment information.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: If you have any issues with your subscription, contact us at support@shiplo.gs. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

4. GitHub Integration

To use ShipLogs, you need to connect at least one GitHub account. You can connect multiple GitHub accounts (personal and organization) to access different repositories.

We only access repositories you explicitly connect to your projects. We read commit messages, pull request titles, descriptions, and labels. We do not access or store your source code.

We install webhooks on connected repositories to receive notifications about new commits and pull requests. You can disconnect repositories at any time, which will remove our webhooks.

5. AI-Generated Content

Changelogs are generated by AI (OpenAI) based on your commit messages and pull request information. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or misinterpretations.

We recommend reviewing generated changelogs before publishing them. You can edit any generated content before making it public. ShipLogs is not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated descriptions.

6. Your Content & Data

You retain ownership of your changelogs and project configurations. By using the service, you grant us a license to process your GitHub data and generate changelogs on your behalf.

Your data is not used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Connect repositories you do not have authorization to access
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the service
• Share account credentials with third parties
• Sell or transfer your account
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws

8. Intellectual Property

ShipLogs, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is the property of HakkApps, LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or technology.

9. Limitation of Liability

ShipLogs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HakkApps, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Deleting your account will immediately cancel any active subscription and permanently delete all your data (projects, changelogs, settings, GitHub connections). This action is irreversible.

12. Updates

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
